I have been with Coldwell Banker Rick Canup Realtors and a part of The Medina Team since 2003. I was born in EL Paso, but was transplanted into Lubbock in 1984. I have grown up in Lubbock. I went to elementary school at Whiteside Elementary, Ed Irons Junior High, Lubbock High Westerner (Class of 97). I am a Texas Tech graduate with a BFA in Design Communications and have worked in web design and advertising.

I have seen the changing landscape of Lubbock Texas. I have seen the cotton fields of 82nd and Upland turn into beautiful housing developments. I have seen the revitalization of South and North Overton. Lubbock is a great place to live and is filled with opportunities. One of the things that makes Lubbock great is a stable housing market. When the rest of the country experienced the highs and lows of the real estate roller coaster, Lubbock's trend line continued to increase at a steady pace.

My mission in real estate is to empower my clients with knowledge about the market. I have never felt that it was my role to talk anyone into or out of a home purchase. My role is to be your guide and give you the most accurate and concise information so you can make the right decision for you and/or your family.

I specialize in working with sellers who need to sell before they can purchase their next home. Velma and I have been involved in well over 500 transactions in our years of doing business, and while we do get thrown a curve ball every once in a while, our extensive experience has allowed us to help sellers and buyers move on to their next goal in life.

I also work with a number of investors. In doing this, I have learned the different options in which real estate can be purchased. While real estate investment isn't for everyone, it can be lucrative in Lubbock because of steady growth. If you're looking to try to hit a home run at every at bat when it comes to real estate investment, then go look in California, Florida, and Nevada and take that huge risk. However, if you want a good stable source of investment income, look to Lubbock and give me a call.

When I am not selling real estate, you can find me with my wife, Lita, and daughter Isabella. My wife is a native of San Antonio so we spend a lot of time in central Texas. My wife and I love being Texans. In the fall, you can find us tail gating at Jones AT&T Stadium cheering for Texas Tech. In the spring you may catch us in San Antonio for Fiesta and in the summer, there is a good chance you’ll find us enjoying the simple pleasure of floating the Guadalupe River in New Braunsfel or hunting down the next great BBQ joint.
